GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions.

Will scanning send an SMS by itself?

No. A supported phone opens a draft; the person must confirm sending.

Does this work with iPhone and Android?

Most modern phones support SMS QR codes, but compatibility differs depending on the camera and messaging app.

Are SMS carrier charges included?

QR Cove is free, but a person choosing to send a message may incur charges from their phone carrier.

OUR PRIVACY PROMISE

Your content stays yours.

Our QR generator does its work on your device. QR contents and uploaded center logos are not transmitted to our application server. The website host may process basic technical request logs. Future advertising services may collect data according to their own privacy rules; we'll update this policy before activating advertisements.

An SMS QR code includes a recipient number and optional pre-filled message. Scanning opens the device messaging app when supported, without sending anything until the visitor confirms. Useful for service inquiries, appointment requests, promotions, and event replies.

Text-message QR code behavior

An SMS QR code includes a phone number and may suggest the first message. Compatible scanning apps normally hand the information to the phone messaging app, where the user decides whether to send. Messaging support differs by country and device, and carrier charges may apply to the person sending the SMS.

Use it with care

SMS can be helpful for simple event check-ins, customer inquiries, or replies to a posted service notice. Include the appropriate country code and test on a second phone. A text-message QR does not prove that the recipient received the message.
