GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions.

Does scanning an email QR send a message automatically?

No. It opens a draft in the device email app. The person scanning decides whether to send it.

What if the scanner has no email app?

The phone may ask them to choose an app, or the link may not open. Test with the devices your audience uses.

Can I pre-fill a subject and message?

Yes. Enter optional subject and message fields; the QR code encodes them in the email link.

OUR PRIVACY PROMISE

Your content stays yours.

Our QR generator does its work on your device. QR contents and uploaded center logos are not transmitted to our application server. The website host may process basic technical request logs. Future advertising services may collect data according to their own privacy rules; we'll update this policy before activating advertisements.

An email QR code uses a standard mailto link. When scanned, it asks the device to open the configured email app with your chosen recipient and optional subject or message. No messages are sent automatically. Use it for customer inquiries, event feedback, contact pages, or printed business cards.

Email QR codes do not send messages by themselves

The QR stores a mailto link with the address, and optionally a subject and a message body. The phone may open the preferred mail application when someone scans it. The visitor can still edit the draft or close it without sending. Always proofread the address, because a small typo can send replies to the wrong inbox. Avoid pre-filling private customer information in a publicly printed code.

Where these codes help

They work well on exhibition cards, printed customer-feedback forms and service leaflets. Test the workflow on iOS and Android devices because the available mail apps and default settings vary.
